I come from Athens, Greece but have 3 nationalities: Greek, English, and Italian. While I always enjoyed building and being creative I did not discover my passion for building with software until I was in college at the age of 18. I studied liberal arts and sciences because I did not know what I wanted to focus on. There I found the combination of computer science and philosophy to be the most intellectually fulfilling and while they sound like very different disciplines they are very similar. The obvious intersection is AI which I studied at a graduate level (after half a year of project management work). Since then I have been working full-time as a machine learning engineer at a startup (fronterigroup.ai) working on RL/simulation optimisation solutions for container terminals.
